Deutsche Telekom drops 7% on SpaceX competition fears

Shares of Deutsche Telekom fell more than 7% on Friday amid concerns about increased competition in the United States after SpaceX announced a deal to acquire low-band spectrum licenses.

The agreement with Grain Management, which remains subject to regulatory approval, would support SpaceX’s plans to expand Starlink Mobile into a major US mobile carrier, combining satellite and terrestrial connectivity.

At 9:17 am CET, Deutsche Telekom shares were down 6.95% at €24.97. The stock has fallen around 7% since the start of the year and 17% over the past six months.
